Myrna F. Stacey has over 20 years' experience serving the specialized accounting needs of small businesses. The unique perspective she brings to her work comes from her expertise with all phases of bookkeeping and accounting. From posting yesteryear’s journals to today's sophisticated computerized financial statements, Myrna's in-depth knowledge on the basics enables her to offer customized solutions to her clients.

Myrna has always been fascinated with numbers. She learned the manual method of bookkeeping when, at the age of 15, she became the bookkeeper in her family’s business, a coin-operated amusements company. While earning her college degree in psychology, she always took work as a bookkeeper on the side.

Upon graduation, Myrna worked in the mental health field for three years, but her love of numbers wooed her back to accounting. She earned a Certificate in Accountancy from Bentley College in 1991 and became a CPA in 1995. In 1996, she became a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. By 2003, she had 130 clients and 10 people on staff. During that same year, she merged with Jeff Siegel and formed Siegel & Stacey, LLC. When she left in 2007 to work independently and spend more time with her children, the company had a 14-person staff and over 250 clients.

Myrna has worked on the books of hundreds of companies and has gained a wealth of business savvy and experience while doing so. Because of her keen understanding of the manual system of bookkeeping, Myrna has successfully trained hundreds of company bookkeepers on how to use their knowledge and apply it to QuickBooks®. Her patience and pleasant demeanor combine to make a great teacher. Her real-world experience and the skills she’s honed over three decades combine to make her the best at what she does.

Myrna is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). She has been a featured speaker at presentations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. She has been a QuickBooks® instructor and is a member of the QuickBooks® Advisor Program. She lives in Natick, Massachusetts, with her husband Bob and their two children.
